Dated observations
Each observation covers the next seven calendar days, starting the day after collection. Reports begin when collection begins. They are not a census of German cinemas, ticket sales or audience demand.

How to read these reports
Source availability and cinema coverage can change. We only calculate a comparison when both observations have fresh, complete coverage, the same cinema catalogue, matching source providers and the same local collection hour. Adjacent seven-day windows overlap and must not be added together.
Audio language, subtitle language and the OV/OmU/OmeU label are separate. Unknown values remain unknown. Read about the programme sources.
